Frequently Asked Questions

Attire:

Ultimately we want students to be comfortable while in class. Whatever is going to make you feel your best is what we want you to wear. That being said...

Ballet: tights and a leotard, or leggings and a t-shirt. This way student and teacher can see correct form.

Tap: No baggy pants (we don't want you to fall).

Hip Hop: Anything you can move freely in.

Shoes: We are always collecting donated dance shoes, so we often have a pair or two in different sizes. to loan out to students. We ask that you please return them after class. Tap shoes are not required for your first class. We ask that you bring clean shoes for hip hop as we have new dance floors and are trying to keep them clean and nice. We will also have wipes for your shoes if bringing a clean pair is not feasible. If you need help getting dance shoes don't be afraid to reach out to us in class. We can order shoes for you, and soon hope to have some for purchase on hand in the studio. For first ballet classes, socks are allowed.

How do I know if I have a spot in class?

If you are an annual or monthly member you have priority registration. Once you've received a confirmation for your registration, you are securely registered for that class as long as your registration is active. We just asked that you let your teacher know if you'll miss a week, so we can offer that spot to a waitlisted student.

If there are open spots left in class and you've made a suggested donation, that reserves your spot for that class. If there are remaining spots open feel free to come in and take a free class. We will be posting on the website, our social media accounts, and sending out emails to alert if a class you've signed up for is filled, and if there are open spots. We've set up an automated system for this, but appreciate your patience as we work out the kinks.

Parking: Being downtown there is street parking only. Parking after 6pm is free. For minors we want to make eye contact with the adult that they will be heading home with, we will be able to watch students from the front door of our building, but won't be able to escort them to your vehicle.
